This is the one jazz record owned by people who don't listen to jazz, and with good reason. The band itself is extraordinary (proof of Miles Davis's masterful casting skills, if not of God's existence), listing John Coltrane and Julian "Cannonball" Adderley on saxophones, Bill Evans (or, on "Freddie Freeloader," Wynton Kelly) on piano, and the crack rhythm unit of Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums...

How can I count on the participation of musical notation of a dotted quarter note?
I asked this question before, but realized that I made a mistake, once I took a good look at the music. I have a music bar with a dotted quarter note followed by a shout and a half octave a note. This was copied to me for my guitar teacher and I'm trying to get the correct strumming pattern.
A rating point means they have the note of 1.5x its length - the most common form is an average of points, which is in 3 / 4 music and is valid for three days. A dotted quarter note is the same as "one and "a compass, or a quarter note tied to a quaver. A dotted quarter note = 1.5, eight note = .5, and the average = 2. 1.5 + .5 + 2 = 4!
