the quantity of wine to give at the wedding breakfast?
I am ready to get married (yay!) And we are having a morning ceremony and breakfast reception, This is mainly due to the fact that none of us drink and both families are multi-Full Blown alcoholics who may abuse a tab bar, and get ... .. ah "disordered" to put it mildly. (as we drink dont, Everybody Getting 'broken' is not how we spend our day special) Receipt run from 9:30-10 am until bout 3 - 3:30 pm. It's probably buffet or cocktail party, rather we not have a sit down event. And the menu to be served consists of croissants, pastries, muffins, fruit, toasted bagels, etc.. After breakfast you are planning to have developed a sweet 'bar' and a cake. Can anyone suggest something in the way of the amount of alcohol you should serve, which should serve alcohol and ideas on keeping customers too drunk at bay? We do not want anyone to feel they have "limited", but do not actually want to drink all right!? HELP!
I do not think guests expect any alcohol in a breakfast reception. Tea, coffee and juice ... enough. If you want to have something special, you might consider signing a drink with alcohol little or design of a non-alcohol. The benefits of serving signature drinks are: (i) you can control what you drink, (ii) save money, (iii) ease of preparation, (iv) match your theme or color ... Just my 2 cents.
